Entrepreneur and AmRest founder Henry McGovern joins the Curtice Brothers with investments to ensure their growth and continued success.

“We are proud and honoured that Henry believes in the Curtice Brothers. His entrepreneurial spirit, energy and network will help us to continue to grow the company.” says Mario C. Bauer, co-founder and CEO of the company.

Henry McGovern said, “I am super pleased to be a part of the Curtice Brothers. The company has everything I have always believed in, which is great food and a great culture. I’m simply honoured to become a brother. The quality and taste of their products are extraordinary.”

Henry McGovern is an entrepreneur and founder of AmRest Holdings S.E, one of Europe’s leading restaurant companies.

The Curtice Brothers company was founded by Edgar and Simeon Curtice in 1868 in Rochester, New York.  The two brothers launched production of their tomato ketchup from a small grocery shop and soon expanded successfully across America.  Their brand, unfortunately, disappeared from the market during the 1940’s.

Early in 2014, a group of friends from the food and beverage industry brought the Curtice Brothers brand back to life. During their travels they noticed a troubling lack of alternatives to stale processed industrial ketchup.

At Curtice Brothers, they understand that organic is, simply, better.  In fact, the Curtice Brothers organic ketchup has earned two-stars at London’s prestigious Great Taste Awards 2018.
